About Tea-Diethanolaminoethyl Polyisobutenylsuccinate

Tea-Diethanolaminoethyl Polyisobutenylsuccinate is an amine salt.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to lower surface tension so that raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[3] In Europe, the maximum concentration is 2.5% in leave-on products, while no separate maximum concentration is specified for rinse-off products. Nitrosamines must also be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2]
