About Tea-Coco-Sulfate
Tea-Coco-Sulfate is the triethanolamine salt of sulfated coconut alcohol.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, form foam during use, and lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[3] In Europe, it is limited to 2.5% in leave-on products, with no separate maximum concentration set for rinse-off products. Nitrosamines must also be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2]
