About Tallow Amide
Tallow Amide is a mixture of amides.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, help prevent the emulsified state from separating, increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable, reduce light transmission so the contents appear less translucent, lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly, and adjust the viscosity and flow of formulas.[2] [2]
