About Synthetic Japan Wax

Synthetic Japan Wax is a synthetic wax whose chemical composition and physical properties are indistinguishable from those of natural Rhus Succedanea Fruit Wax.[1] Because it is primarily composed of fatty components obtained from the fruit, it mixes more readily with oils than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to help formula ingredients bind together and maintain their form, reduce friction on skin or hair and add a smooth feel, and prevent easy separation of emulsions containing water and oil.[2] It is also used to adjust the viscosity and flow of a formula.[2]
