About Stearamide
Stearamide is an aliphatic amide.[1] The flow and texture of a formula containing Stearamide may vary depending on the concentration, temperature, and proportions of the liquid and solid ingredients used together. In cosmetics, it is used to increase the amount of foam and help prevent it from collapsing quickly, reduce light transmission so the contents appear less transparent, and adjust formula viscosity and flow.[2]
