About Soyamidoethyldimonium/Trimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein
Soyamidoethyldimonium/Trimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein is a quaternary ammonium salt obtained by reacting chlorohydroxypropyltrimethylammonium chloride, hydrolyzed wheat protein, and dimethylsoyaammonium chloride in equimolar amounts.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, and to reduce tangling and roughness for smoother hair conditioning.[2]
