About Sorbitan Undecylenate

Sorbitan Undecylenate is the monoester of undecylenic acid and a hexitol anhydride derived from sorbitol.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
