About Sorbeth-6 Beeswax

Sorbeth-6 Beeswax is an ethoxylated sorbitan derived from beeswax, with an average of 6 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] Because its composition is centered on fatty components obtained from Sorbeth-6 Beeswax, it mixes better with oils than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to form emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed and to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
