About Sorbeth-2 Cocoate
Sorbeth-2 Cocoate is a fatty acid obtained from the ester of coconut palm oil and the polyethylene glycol of sorbitol with an average of 2 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly combined, and to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
