About Sodium Tamanuseedate

Sodium Tamanuseedate is the sodium salt of fatty acids derived from tamanu seed oil.[1] Because it has both water-attracting and oil-attracting parts, its cleansing power, foam, and feel may vary according to the formulation concentration and the surfactants used with it. In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and adjust the viscosity and flow of a formula.[2]
