About Sodium Tallamphopropionate
Sodium Tallamphopropionate is an amphoteric organic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, and form foam during use.[2] It is also used to reduce tangling and rough feel in hair for smoother manageability, and to lower surface tension so ingredients can be wetted, mixed, and spread evenly.[2]
