About Sodium Stearoamphopropionate
Sodium Stearoamphopropionate is an amphoteric organic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, increase the amount of foam and keep it from collapsing easily, and form foam during use.[2] It is also used to reduce tangling and rough feel in hair for smoother manageability, and to lower surface tension so ingredients can be wetted, mixed, and spread evenly.[2]
