About Sodium Stearoamphohydroxypropylsulfonate

Sodium Stearoamphohydroxypropylsulfonate is an amphoteric organic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and increase the amount and stability of foam.[2] It is also used to reduce tangling and rough feel for smoother hair and to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
