About Sodium Palm Kernelate

Sodium Palm Kernelate is the sodium salt of fatty acids derived from palm kernel oil.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] It is also used to adjust a formula’s viscosity and flow.[2]
