About Sodium Oleyl Sulfate

Sodium Oleyl Sulfate is the sodium salt of Oleyl Sulfate.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly blended, and form foam during use.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
