About Sodium Oleoyl Hydrolyzed Collagen
Sodium Oleoyl Hydrolyzed Collagen is the sodium salt of the condensation product of oleic acid chloride and hydrolyzed collagen.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, help sebum and impurities wash away with water, and smooth and condition hair by reducing tangling and roughness.[2] It is also used to leave the skin surface soft and smooth and to lower surface tension so that ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
