About Sodium Oleoamphohydroxypropylsulfonate
Sodium Oleoamphohydroxypropylsulfonate is an amphoteric organic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it last longer, and form foam during use.[2] It is also used to reduce hair tangling and rough feel for smoother grooming, help ingredients that do not dissolve readily in water disperse more evenly in the aqueous phase, and lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
