About Sodium Myreth Sulfate
Sodium Myreth Sulfate is the sodium salt of sulfated ethoxylated myristyl alcohol.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly blended, and to form foam during use.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
