About Sodium Mannitylphytate
Sodium Mannitylphytate is the sodium salt of the product obtained by condensing mannitol and phytic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reaction with oxygen, bind metal ions to reduce their effects on color, fragrance, and formula stability, and inhibit the growth of microorganisms in products to delay deterioration during storage.[2]
