Sodium Lauroyl Hydrolyzed Collagen is the sodium salt of the condensation product of lauric acid chloride and hydrolyzed collagen.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, reduce tangling and rough feel in hair for smooth conditioning, and smooth and soften the skin’s surface. It is also used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] [2]
