About Sodium Lauroamphopropionate

Sodium Lauroamphopropionate is an amphoteric organic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, help sebum and impurities wash away with water, and increase the amount of foam and help it last longer.[2] It is also used to form foam during use, reduce hair tangling and rough feel for smoother manageability, and lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
