About Sodium Lardate
Sodium Lardate is the sodium salt of fatty acids derived from lard.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and increase the amount of foam and help prevent it from collapsing easily. It is also used to lower surface tension so that raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] [2]
