About Sodium Isopropylparaben

Sodium Isopropylparaben is the sodium salt of isopropylparaben.[1] Its solubility and charge state depend on the components forming the salt and the formula’s acidity, which also affects how it interacts with other ingredients. In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms in a product and slow deterioration during storage.[3] It cannot be used in cosmetics in Europe.[2]
