About Sodium Decylglucosides Hydroxypropyl Phosphate
Sodium Decylglucosides Hydroxypropyl Phosphate is the sodium salt of the phosphate ester of a mixture of hydroxypropyl decyl monoglucoside and hydroxypropyl decyl diglucoside.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly; to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed; and to increase the amount of foam and help it last longer.[2] It is also used to help ingredients that do not dissolve well in water disperse more evenly in the aqueous phase and to help sebum and impurities wash away with water.[2]
