About Sodium Coco/Hydrogenated Tallow Sulfate

Sodium Coco/Hydrogenated Tallow Sulfate is the sodium salt of sulfate esters of a mixture of fatty alcohols derived from coconut oil and hydrogenated tallow.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and produce foam during use.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
