About Sodium Coco/Babassu Sulfate
Sodium Coco/Babassu Sulfate is the sodium salt of sulfate esters of a mixture of fatty alcohols derived from coconut and babassu oils.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help rinse sebum and impurities away with water, create emulsion formulations in which water and oil are evenly blended, and lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
