About Sodium Chitosan Stearamide Hydroxypropylsulfonate
Sodium Chitosan Stearamide Hydroxypropylsulfonate is obtained by reacting chitosan with stearic acid anhydride and sodium 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropanesulfonate.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and provide a smooth feel, reduce tangling and roughness for smoother hair, soften and smooth the skin’s surface, and reduce surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] [2]
