Sodium Chitosan Rice Branamide Hydroxypropylsulfonate is a polysaccharide made up of linked sugar units.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and reduce tangling and rough feel in hair to leave it smooth. It is also used to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth, protect the skin from external factors, and lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[1] [1]
