About Sodium Chitosan Cocamide Hydroxypropylsulfonate

Sodium Chitosan Cocamide Hydroxypropylsulfonate is a raw material obtained by reacting chitosan with coconut acid anhydride and sodium 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropanesulfonate.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and reduce tangling and rough feel in hair to leave it smooth. It is also used to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth, and to lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] [2]
