About Sodium Cetyl Sulfate
Sodium Cetyl Sulfate is the sodium salt of cetyl sulfate.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly blended, and form foam during use.[2] It is also used to reduce surface tension so that raw materials can become wetted, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
