About Sodium Capryloamphopropionate
Sodium Capryloamphopropionate is an amphoteric organic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, increase the amount of foam and help it resist collapsing, and form foam during use.[2] It is also used to reduce tangling and rough texture in hair for a smoother, more manageable finish, and to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
