About Sodium Capryloamphoacetate

Sodium Capryloamphoacetate is an amphoteric organic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help wash away sebum and impurities with water, increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable, and form foam during use.[2] It is also used to reduce hair tangling and rough feel for smoother conditioning, and to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
