About Sodium Caproamphohydroxypropylsulfonate

Sodium Caproamphohydroxypropylsulfonate is an amphoteric organic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help rinse sebum and impurities away with water, increase the amount of foam and help keep it from collapsing easily, and form foam during use.[2] It is also used to reduce hair tangling and a rough feel for smoother conditioning, and to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
