About Sodium Calcium Zinc Phosphate
Sodium Calcium Zinc Phosphate is an ingredient obtained by fusing sodium oxide, calcium oxide, zinc oxide, and phosphorus oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to physically remove deposits from the surface of the skin or teeth, buffer the formulation so its acidity does not change rapidly, and leave the nails smooth and flexible.[2] It is also used to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth and to reduce changes to products and formulation ingredients caused by ultraviolet radiation.[2]
