Sodium C13-15 Alketh-8 Phosphate is the sodium salt of a mixture of esters of a mixture of C13-15 synthetic alcohols with an average ethoxylation value of 8 moles and phosphoric acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water.[2]
