Sodium C12-15 Alketh-3 Sulfate is the sodium salt of the sulfated polyethylene glycol ether of a mixture of synthetic C12-15 alcohols.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to lower surface tension so that raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to help sebum and impurities be rinsed away with water.[2]
