About Sodium C12-14 Olefin Sulfonate
Sodium C12-14 Olefin Sulfonate is a mixture of long-chain sulfonate salts obtained by sulfonating C12-14 alpha-olefins, consisting mainly of sodium alkene sulfonates and sodium hydroxyalkane sulfonates.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, create foam during use, and lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
