About Sodium C10-16 Alketh-2 Sulfate
Sodium C10-16 Alketh-2 Sulfate is the sodium salt of the sulfated polyethylene glycol ether of a synthetic mixture of C10-16 fatty alcohols.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce surface tension so that ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly, increase the amount of foam and help it persist, and help sebum and impurities wash away with water.[2]
