Sodium C10-15 Alketh Sulfate is the sodium salt of the sulfated polyethylene glycol ether of a mixture of synthetic C10-15 alcohols, where R is a C10-15 alkyl group.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to lower surface tension so that raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to help sebum and impurities be rinsed away with water.[2]
