About Sodium Butylglucosides Hydroxypropyl Phosphate

Sodium Butylglucosides Hydroxypropyl Phosphate is the sodium salt of the phosphate ester of a mixture of hydroxypropyl butyl monoglucoside and hydroxypropyl butyl diglucoside.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed, increase the amount of foam and help it last longer, and lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
