About Sodium/Aluminum/Iron/Sulfate/Oxalate/Hydroxide
Sodium/Aluminum/Iron/Sulfate/Oxalate/Hydroxide is a raw material obtained by reacting aluminum sulfate, ferric sulfate, sodium hydroxide, and oxalic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit microbial growth, bind metal ions to reduce their effects on color, fragrance, and formulation stability, and reduce the prominence of unpleasant odors.[2] It is also used to attract moisture to the formulation and skin surface to help maintain moisturization and to reduce light transmission so that the contents appear less visible.[2]
