About Sodium/Aluminum/Iron/Sulfate/Citrate/Hydroxide
Sodium/Aluminum/Iron/Sulfate/Citrate/Hydroxide is an ingredient obtained through the reaction of aluminum sulfate, ferric sulfate, sodium hydroxide, and citric acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms, reduce the prominence of unpleasant odors, and attract moisture to the formula and skin surface to help maintain hydration.[2] It is also used to reduce light transmission so the contents appear less translucent and to reduce changes to the product and formula ingredients caused by ultraviolet radiation.[2]
