About Sodium/Aluminum Hydroxide/Oxalate/Sulfate
Sodium/Aluminum Hydroxide/Oxalate/Sulfate is a raw material obtained from the reaction of aluminum sulfate, sodium hydroxide, and disodium oxalate.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to physically remove deposits from the skin or tooth surface, absorb liquids such as water or oil in a formula, increase formula volume and adjust the amount of solids, reduce the prominence of unpleasant odors, attract moisture to the formula and skin surface to help maintain a moisturized feel, and reduce light transmission so the contents appear less translucent.[2] [2]
