About Shellac Cera
Shellac Cera is a portion of wax obtained by bleaching shellac acquired through physical methods.[1] Because it mainly consists of fatty components obtained from Shellac Cera, it mixes more readily with oils than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while helping reduce the sensation of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it helps ingredients in a formula bind together and maintain its form, reduces friction on skin or hair and adds a smooth feel, and forms a thin film on the surface of skin, hair, and nails after application.[2] It is also used to reduce tangling and roughness in hair for smooth grooming and to leave the skin surface soft and smooth.[2]
