About Shark Liver Oil
Shark liver oil is oil expressed from the fresh livers of certain shark species.[1] Because it mainly consists of fatty components obtained from shark liver, it blends better with oils than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while reducing the feeling of rapid moisture loss. In cosmetics, it is used to leave the skin surface soft and smooth, help protect the skin from external factors, and dissolve other ingredients to create a uniform formula.[2]
