About Sesamidopropylamine Oxide
Sesamidopropylamine Oxide is a tertiary amine oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help wash away sebum and impurities with water, increase the amount of foam and help it remain stable, and reduce hair tangling and rough texture for smoother manageability.[2] It is also used to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth and to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
