About S-Dna Aptamer-1
S-DNA Aptamer-1 is a single-stranded DNA molecule obtained by synthesizing 32 nucleotides with a sophisticated three-dimensional structure that has high affinity and specificity for ascorbic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to slow the rate at which formula ingredients oxidize through reaction with oxygen, to buffer the formula so its acidity does not change rapidly, and to absorb or reflect ultraviolet radiation to reduce the amount reaching the skin.[2]
