About Retinyl Soyate
Retinyl Soyate is an oil-soluble ingredient with a retinoid structure.[1] It mixes better with oil than with water, and its properties may change when exposed to light and oxygen, so formula stability should be carefully managed. Light-blocking packaging and appropriate solubilization methods are preferably used to reduce exposure to heat and air during storage. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, and to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth.[1]
