About Retinoyl Pullulan
Retinoyl Pullulan is an oil-soluble ingredient with a retinoid structure.[1] It mixes better with oils than with water and may change in properties when exposed to light and oxygen, so formulation stability is carefully managed. Light-blocking packaging and appropriate solubilization methods are generally used to reduce exposure to heat and air during storage. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reactions with oxygen, reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, and leave the skin's surface soft and smooth.[1]
