About Quaternium-92

Quaternium-92 is a quaternary ammonium salt.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static that makes hair strands lift or cling to one another, to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to increase the amount of foam and help it last longer.[2] It is also used to reduce tangling and roughness for smoother-feeling hair and to leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
